How to check your CIBIL score
In recent times, credit card transactions have become one of the most efficient means of spending. According to Statista reports, nearly 121 million point-of-sale transactions were made through credit cards in India. The Credit Information Bureau (India) Ltd is one of the largest credit information agencies authorized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
The CIBIL score is a three-digit summary of your credit history and is derived using the credit history found in the CIBIL report or the Credit Information Report (CIR). A CIR is an individual’s payment history for loan types and lending institutions over a period of time.
Step-by-step guide to verify CIBIL report
Go to CIBIL official website, and select ‘ Get your CIBIL score‘.

Enter the required details such as name, email id and password. Attach an ID (passport number, PAN card, Aadhaar or voter card) and enter your PIN code, date of birth, and phone number. Then press ‘ Accept and continue‘.

In the next step, you will receive a one-time password (OTP).
For the next step, select “Go to Dashboard”.

Then you will be redirected to myscore.cibil.com, where you can see your credit score on your screen.

Click on ‘Member Login’ whenever you want to see your CIBIL score.
