University of Chicago student, Morton Salt executive and Loyola graduate missing in Florida condo collapse – CBS Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) –A former Loyola University graduate and director of Chicago-based Morton Salt is among those missing in the Florida condominium tower collapse.
Juan Mora, the director of the east coast road salt distribution company at Morton’s Chicago headquarters, has been reported among the approximately 160 still missing.

“We are shocked and deeply saddened to learn that Juan is said to be one of more than 150 people missing, ”the company said in a statement. “Morton Salt’s team hold hope for Juan, his family and the other victims of this tragedy and will keep them in our thoughts as the rescue efforts continue. “

Morton Salt also plans to donate $ 25,000 to a local agency to help with relief efforts and support services. Mora graduated from Loyola 10 years ago with a Bachelor of International Business degree.
The Miami Herald reports that Mora was visiting her parents, who are also missing.
